The Operation are headlining THE BIG GIG, a day festival on Holcombe Farm, Somerset. This is going to be a cracking fest and IS going to sell out. We have been allocated 30 tickets. They are £10 each, this is a non profit gig so all money goes to charity.

Hi friends,

Just a little opdate on what we have been up to this year. We went into the studio in early January to start working on new material. We've tracked 5 new songs and are hoping to release a little sampler summer '11. They sound mean !! We worked with Greg Freeman who is an excellent producer from Bristol UK, he's worked with Peter Gabriel, Amy Winehouse and Arcade Fire to name a few. He also is a dear friend.

We are keeping our fingers crossed for Glastonbury this year, but will just have to hang tight. In the summer there is talk of a big USA/Trip tour and showcase extravaganza which is exciting. It seems that our sound is excepted a little more in America. Let's face facts British Radio/Press are not pushing new guitar bands. Anyway, stay with us. We're still moving.
